10K Training: Week 1

This week was the first week of formal training for the 10K I have targeted in the fall (the Run for Lawson 10K on November 1). My training plan started off nice and easy, and I ended up doing a little more than what was scheduled. Here's a quick recap:
Scheduled:
Tuesday: 2 miles
Thursday: 2 miles
Saturday: 2 miles
Sunday: 4 miles
Total: 10 miles
Completed:
Tuesday: 2 miles
Friday: 2.3 miles (w/E in the stroller)
Saturday: 4.25 miles
Sunday 4 miles
Monday: 2.7 miles (CCR group run w/E in the stroller)
Total: 15.25 miles
All in all, this week felt good. I was glad to have something scheduled to work toward. I am excited to keep after the training, and I hope that it continues to go well. I'll be sure to continue posting my progress as I go.
